From today’s arrival to Dahab I will write daily reports about trainings and preparations for the record, instead of Martin.
The second group of deep safety divers and support team flew in tonight. The welcome was quite generous because the people here are already very tired. Today the first group continued in the training. Niki made a series of dives and you can tell she’s more and more in tune with the sled. Martin‘s training consisted of couple warm-up dives followed with a dive to 80 meters without fins; so-called Constant No Fins (CNF).
The second group slept up their sleep deficit from last night’s flight and travel from Sharm El Sheik to Dahab. Then they made themseves home in Golden Star Hotel and at Lighthouse Dive Center they tested their equipmnet.
The team enlarged with technical divers who will take care of Martin, if needed, in depths around hundred meters. They are all very experienced divers and some of them have already been to similar events with Martin. The arrival of doctors was a rescue for Pavel Riedl who has been tormented by illness for 10 days.

The day ended with a meeting, where all details and tasks for tomorrow‘s training were discussed. Tomorrow only Niki is training, while Martin has a day off.
